On behalf of prof. André Knottnerus we cordially invite you to join his farewell symposium and valedictory lecture on 26 October 2018.

Time: Friday, 26 October, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM
Location: Sint Janskerk, Vrijthof 24, 6211 LE Maastricht

Solid evidence is crucial for improving healthcare practice and policy. However, the way evidence is valued and used is influenced by the agendas of various stakeholders. This 'arena' is about much more than accepting or ignoring ‘facts’. Judgement, values, interests, and dealing with uncertainty are also essential elements of the process. Internationally renowned speakers will reflect on developments, factors and actors that play a pivotal role in the evidence arena, and on the way to go.
